Flash Player is installed in my W7 IE 11 32 bit PC but won't play videos. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still won't play. I've also checked to see if it is Enabled in "Manage add-ons" but it is not, only "Shockwave  Flash Object" is listed as Enabled. I also checked to see if it was listed in Programs and Features and it is listed as "Adobe Flash Player 32 AvtiveX", but it still will not play videos. Is there something I can do to get it to finally play the videos? Thanks, B1.

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.   Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to  website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from ccleanercom (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Post below the Reply box.

Moderator, Here is the first part of your request. Second part to follow soon (I hope). I'm not to swift on the computer, so I'll do the best I can. Might take me a while but I'll try to get it to you as soon as I can. Might be in a couple days as I have to go out of town for a day or two. Thanks for your help, B1.

Please, if someone out there could and would tell me what to do or tell me where to go for a solution, I would greatly be appreciative to finally having this video problem solved.

I must have messed up with the Moderator's previous instructions {which is not unusual for me) or that wasn't a solution, but I thank Mr. Moderator for your efforts anyway. I'm still hoping for help though. Thanks you all, B1

My apologies for the delayed response...no good reason, I just missed your posts.  Taking a look now :).

Avast On Free Driver Scout...

I would uninstall that.  I also note that you have a scheduled task re Driver Booster...I would nix that, even though you don't have Driver Booster installed.  You have a Dell system...that's where your drivers should be obtained...when you have a need to replace such.  Drivers do NOT require constant updating in the same manner that critical updates are required for Windows.

The LMS driver errors...info on such can be found Here.

In general, there is no specific error indicated re Flash or Shockwave.  I would do several things.

a.  Run the chkdsk /r command on your Windows partition.

b.  Then run the sfc /scannow command.

c.  Get to Windows Updates for current updates.  You seem to be lagging a bit.

Louis...  I don't know anything about a Windows partition, how to get to it,  or what it is. So I'm sorry to say I don't know how to follow what appear to be your very plain and simple instructions. I am a clutch when it comes to computers. Sorry. Thanks, B1

But...you do know to use Google...to look up some of the things you would like to know today...and which you did not know yesterday :).  Try it.

Yes, I know how to use  Google, I usually do try it before I try the forum. Google helps many times for  some of the things I would like to know today...and which I still don't know with the limited PC knowledge I still lack in my 86 years.

I did try Google, but I guess I'll have to  keep trying it or elsewhere to get the answer I need, maybe I'll stumble across someone willing to explain how to locate the Windows partition so I can follow your a,b, instructions . Thanks for your help this far though, B1.

Your Windows partition is your C:\ drive !

Type 'command' into search (all typing, leave out the ' '), then RIGHT click on 'command .exe' which should be first in any hits and choose 'Run as administrator'. A black box with white text will appear. Type 'chkdsk /r' (note the space) and press enter. It will say it cannot run just now, do you want it to run at next start. Type 'Y', press enter and re-boot. It will then run and it will take anything upto an hour to run. do NOT interrupt it.

When it finishes, repeat the above processs but this time type 'sfc /scannow' (again, note the space) into the box with white text, then press 'enter'. This will also take up to an hour to run. At the end it will say - loosely - no errors found, or Errors found and fixed, or Errors found and not fixed. If you get the last run sfc /scannow again and see if it changes the result.#

Then post back.

Chris...Thanks for your information and your clear instructions. I was hoping someone willing to help would come through and with the patience to put up with the limited use and computer knowledge I have.

I'll get back to you when I've gotten through your instructions. Again, thanks a lot for your interest to help me get through this. B1.

OK Chris, I ran command as you said to do, then I ran 'sfc /scannow' twice and got this same final message, "Window Resource Protection did not find any Integrity Violations". B1

Seems that there is a bit a of a load on the machine, i imagine it takes time for things to open. I'd give it a good cleaning with the following tools.

Adware Cleaner.

Malwarebytes.

Startup Lite.

Tfc.exe

Basically Water.
