Yes, welcome mz30! Sometimes I daydream about all our small contributions adding up to a magical cure for at least one of the blasted diseases that cause such woe :flowers:

I want to warn all BC folders using Vista to shy away from the 5.04Beta.

I've completed two 250,000 WU's now but the Stanford server will not recognize nor upload the finished product.

So, I'll abort both now and reset that PC system to the safer 5.03

Rats!

It appears to me that it needs to be pulled until Stanford can figure out why they can't retrieve the finished work. This actually is an "Alpha"?

It's a project loss overall. I don't mind the waste of time other than the loss to the project.

I've made more than 20 attempts to upload the results. That's enough.

DSTM - that's almost exactly the same error sequence that I experienced.
Except the last two attempts showed Error 503 also.

My two "lost" units uploaded very early this a.m. and I'm hoping they'll show up shortly in the list.

Hang in there and let the system work. Appears they might be having some server problems there? Upload overloads?

Well the LT freaked out when I overloaded the CPU and memory and had to reboot. (Note to self dont run Synaptic, FireFox, F@H, and 4 GIMP instances at once. so much for multi-tasking). So it restarted the WU.
