That people would take time each day to talk to one another and find out how similar our goals in life are instead of watching the news or reading the papers and being influenced in their thoughts of others by the "rag mag" hype that sells and makes the CEO richer while the grass root people struggle to make ends meet. This would at least i believe offer a glimmer of hope to our children who are our future and seem to be subjected to horrific acts by a society that appears to be slowly decaying.

What if everyone cared for their aging parents at home instead of institutionalizing them..(that is what I did and was gratified by wit and wisdom  )

Couldn't agree more with your opinion, except in your last Paragraph.Everyone just about used to look after their ageing Parents, and with the rush and bustle of today's World,it's not allways possible. With both Husband and Wife forced to go out to work, often even working Overtime, it is impossible to be the carer 24/7 .We owe it to our Parents to take care of them in old age,and I for one feel I am missing out on their last years, and I feel bad having no option but to put them in a retirement village. The only Positive I can see,at least they are with other poeple their own age,and share life's stories together.I miss mine soooooo much.

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do which in your case DTSM is have them go to a retirement community. In my eyes its probably better that they are there instead of being by themselves. At least this way they are around people there age and have people looking after them. Plus the place probably has activities that they can do and enjoy. :inlove: As for my mom and step dad I hope it takes a veryyyyyyy long time till they reach the age of where they need to be taken care of. Don't get me wrong I love them both, but boy are they a handful. My mom has a very strong personality, and a very sarcastic sense of humor if you don't know her then you would take what she says to heart. Most of the time I am the only one who can deal with her, especially when she is ticked off. At that time no one wants to be around her and people always tell me to go "straighten her out". :flowers: My step dad, well lets just say if he gets a paper cut he thinks he is bleeding to death. :trumpet: :) To not go off topic i'll ask a what if question.

What if you knew you could not fail, what would you attempt to do?

Heal every child.

What if animals could suddenly speak our language?
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

If Animals could speak our language,I think the first Question they would ask is,Why are so many of us animals tortured to Death in medical research, including Cosmetics?????

What if the World ended next week. What would you like to do before it ended.?

I would look to helping seniors organizations and needy seniors as they built our countries and more often than not get overlooked by the charities.
Try to make their "golden" years more comfortable and have them make a wish that hopefully the $ could help make it come true!!

What if you were heir to the British throne and had one wish, what would that be???

Well said 'Georgia' I would definately do the same for the Elderly.

As far as a wish as Heir to the British Throne, there are a number of wishes.

I would like to see the Media prohibited from taking uncensored Photos of the Monarch's and Families Private life.
I would like to see all 775 rooms at Buckingham Palace serving a usefull purpose.
All Palaces and Country Estates sold and the Millions of Pounds given to Registered Charities.
Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle kept only.

What if you found out you had an incurable and Fatal Disease? Would you end the suffering prematurely,or fight it right to the end.?

The world would not exist as it does right now that is for sure and humanitarian issues and multiculturalism would never get spoken about; however perhaps there would have been a traitor amongst the groupie and the person would have resolved the plight, perhaps it may have been Mrs. Wallis Warfield Simpson, much to the chagrin of the Duke of Windsor.
I think from my reading that she was besot with Mr. H.

What if popcorn didn't pop? What would the movie theatres do???
