I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away
by Percy Shelley.
Thats how I got my name.
And the "90"
9 is my favorite number, and so all of my online personas have some form of 9 in them.
Look Upon My Works Ye Mighty, and Despair!

Hi everyone! I chose this name for 2 reasons. First, and quite obvious, good ole rock and roll music. The second reason is because my hubby and I like to go rockhounding. Yeah!

I'm a Microsoft Flight Simulator fan. I had repainted a plane for my own (virtual) flight around the world and I was trying to think of a name for it. My wife, before she was, started referring to me in emails as Slinky. She suggested this name for my plane, and it stuck. I like it. Can also be found on some FlightSim sites under the same name.

I collect coins, and the fancy name for coin collecting is Numismatics. Since I'm a bit of a nut about collecting coins, I chose the monicker Numinut.

mine is a derivitive of what my name means - "pure jewel". the spelling is borrowed from the 'Pur' water filtration system that used to be highly advertised. (no claims to copyrights are taken)

My name is Roy, my surname starts with an H, but my musician friends started calling me Royston O'Boogie after we started listening to John Lennon's Rock 'n' Roll album over a few beers. At the end of the album, Lennon signs off as Winston O'Boogie (Winston being his middle name). The name stuck, and seems to have spread to all of my friends now (one of my workmates wanted to know why I had a different surname to my wife and son: I told them it was for tax purposes).
