Do a quick check to see how full your C: drive is.

Hey Catseers,

Try this, open up command prompt in ADMIN mode open up start  menu > type in cmd > right click on command prompt > right click on it and select "Run as Administrator" > When the box opens, type in:

sfc /scannow

Hit enter and let it run, it may take a while if you have a slow PC, but run that and come back and let me know how that goes for you please.

good morning, here I am again, reposting to see what else I can do, back to the same ole, same ole.  waiting on these web pages to load every time I want to work on computer, is exasperating!!!

ok, have been to the virus, malware section, think we've established there is nothing there. so back to here, I've been reading what we did before, and apparently nothing worked for very long.

please, does anyone know what would be causing this problem again, plus as mentioned before also, my internet keeps dropping off and on - checked with provider, and of course they say its computer (well if so, what part?).

anyway, need help on both slow loading and dropping internet. oh, sometimes the answer on the internet is - isp has no address - or some such, then how would it connect at all?

thanks for any suggestions with these problems, running os win10 pro, 1 tb, 3.60 hz, i7, hd is not 1/2 full yet. any other info let me know.  thanks again..............

Try Speccy again and let it run for as long as needed within reason.  Follow THIS TUTORIAL to do so.

Please post the exact model number of the pc and what OS came with it.

Good job!

Let's do this one too!

MiniToolBox Tutorial

Please Download MiniToolBox and follow the directions below:

Click on the MiniToolBox Program to start it and accept the Commercial Agreement clause.

Click on "Yes" when the "User Account Control" opens

Check these boxes and Click "Go":

List last 10 Event Viewer Errors

List Installed Programs

List Users, Partitions and Memory size

There will be a Text file in the same directory/folder that you downloaded the tool to.  Open it and Copy Paste the Contents to your next post.  Please be patient as most of us do this in our spare time for free.

You have a huge string of Cancelled and Failed Updates right from the install date, why is that?
