Okay, I have read the thread that you started and linked to.

You must only do what I tell you, I know it's frustrating but running other tools isn't going to help me or you.

From what I see I believe that Orange Blossom may be right. There does not appear to be any live malware on the log but we can still take a good look at this PC as there are other things which can be cleaned up.

Please download and run Combofix so we can make sure there's nothing sneaky here

Please download ComboFix from one of these locations:

• Bleepingcomputer
• ForoSpyware

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop making sure you rename it comfix.exe

• Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications including Firewalls, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. (Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive.)
• Double click on Comfix.exe & follow the prompts.
• As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
• Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Right now I am on my Apple computer but within the hour I will log onto my other computer and do as you have advised.

Save this as CFScript.txt, in the same location as Comfix.exe (called ComboFix.exe in the below graphic)




Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe

If the program requests for you to update Combofix then click Yes.

When finished, it shall produce a log for you at C:\ComboFix.txt which I will require in your next reply.


Now please run ESET's online scanner

Ignore the script for Combofix, it's tidying up rather than cleaning so we can leave it. Please go on to the ESET scanner

okay i did do the scan and here are results.

I assume I should go ahead and delete/quarantine since you did not say to do otherwise then it makes sense to me but then you didn't say to do so either.
