Its the only one that won't update that I've found.Should I uninstall it because I don't think its safe since it keeps turning off.

Also are there any other good uninstallers. I'm currently using Revo but are there any out there that are more efficient and simple to use?

Haven't done a scan yet just wanted to tell you what happened after I installed MSE. When I installed it I couldn't update it and activate its real time protection. So I restarted it, it was able to update and turn on. I restarted the computer again to check it but during start up it didn't turn on. Instead I got
this message:

Couldn't start Microsoft Security Essentials

This program service has stopped. You can start the service manually (which I tried but didn't work) or restart your computer (I tried this also but this also didn't work), which will start the service.

Click help for more information about this problem.

Error Code: 0x800106ba

After the third restart I waited for a long time and the service reactivated.I'll do a scan later.Thanks.

I've just noticed something. I right clicked one of my mp3's accidentally and I saw an option to open the file with cool edit pro.I've never installed this on my computer and I honestly don't know how long its been on here. I opened Revo but it doesn't show up there.
