Hi, so I would like to apologize if I am posting that topic in the wrong thread, but if the Moderator or admin can move this topic to the right location instead of locking it, I will really appreciate. So, I wanted to read a book about Data Structure, but the question I have is. Do I need to read the book about the data structure that for a specific programming language. Like if I need to know more about C programming language data structure do I need to read a book that explains the data structure of that programming language or I can read any book that explain Data structure in general?

In my opinion a language-independent book about data structures does not make sense. A book dedicated to data structures in a language would be useful for learning the language. Unless you mean databases; that is different. Database design is a very large topic.

There are many books about algorithms that are language-independent. I do not know what to recommend. You can look at Amazon Best Sellers: Best Programming Algorithms for a sample list but I do not know how useful that list is.
