My computer start getting slightly slow in general after i leave it running for a while ( about 24 hours ) i notice that when browsing the internet, but what bothers me really is the stutters that i keep encountering in games when i look around inside the game or move the camera i get lag and it seems to be moving in low frames but there is no drops in the FPS within the game. For example after a while having the computer running, when i play League of Legends, the FPS are stuck between 90-120 instead of 200+ but that is still playable and everything seem to be working okay but when i move the camera around the map or get into a fight with the enemy team by shooting a skill the game seems to be massively lagging and stuttering but there are still no drops in fps, the fps are the same as when im not moving the camera or fighting. After i restart the computer, everything goes back to normal and the computer start working just fine , as well as the games. I did a full scan of virus with Rogue killer and Malwarebytes, found some threats and deleted them. Other than that i have no idea what to do, please help!

Hi, Welcome to BC.

The usual things like rebooting are always good to flush out temp files and such.     You do not mention your BIOS Version so will point that there is a new one Released March 29th # F62a and one deals with Fix L3 cache performance on Ryzen 5000 series processors, so that may help if you have not applied it yet.

A new Chipset was released on 2021/04/07 so suggest check you Support Page : https://www.gigabyte.com/ca/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-ELITE-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver-chipset

Your Mechanical Drive should not be making noises. Not a good sign at all. Suggest start saving stuff off of that and to RMA it.

Since Western Digital owns and makes the Hitachi brand you can use this to check your drive with : https://www.seagate.com/ca/en/support/downloads/seatools/seatools-win-master/

The most recommended thing to do with Win10 is to go through Settings in every Heading and sub-heading and turn off everything you do not use and or uninstall it.

All things that came with Win10 can be reinstalled if want them at a later date.  Maps, why......delete and turn off and use Google or..

On the Start Menu use Windows Disk Cleanup, run it once then run it again and choose cleanup system files once a month,

or do this : From the Keyboard press the Windows Key and the X Key and choose Powershell (Admin) OR  START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :  %SystemRoot%\System32\Cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:65535 then Enter, select all and sit back. It opens MS Disk Cleanup and cleans up more.

Use Windows Defrag once a month.

Also monthly : From the Keyboard press the Windows Key and the X Key and choose Powershell (Admin) OR  START | type cmd.exe into the start search box | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe | select "Run as Administrator" then Copy/Paste --> :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command then Enter
if it finds problems then reboot. (Completed Successfully means reboot)
For more information about this command please see : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-dism-command-line-utility-repair-windows-10-image
After : please Open another Admin Command Prompt and please run Copy/Paste --> SFC /SCANNOW into the Dos window or Powershell and Enter.  Reboot after.
The 1st goes up to Microsoft for new files if any are found to be corrupted. The 2nd will then check it self and update it self and fix issues if found.

Check Start Menu or Search for Event Viewer and see what issues are going on and what you can cure by Googling the error codes and descriptions.

Edit : Video Card, yes does make noise as per this review : https://bit-tech.net/reviews/tech/graphics/msi-geforce-rtx-2060-super-gaming-x-review/12/

Considering what this review is like RMA it :

This will explain it for the most part.https://lifehacker.com/this-video-explains-what-coil-whine-is-and-how-to-avoid-1669522880
Some times it can be solved by covering the coil that's whining, they used to back in the day wax but changed to other mean seen more so with video cards as they get hot. fFixing this your self will most likely void the warranty.
Best way is to get in touch with the manufacture about it and seek a RMA and hopefully you will get a new one without the issue.

AKA Coil whine, and if it's not RMA is still your best option.

Hello Pkshadow,

Thank you very much for this detailed and valuable information and advice.
I did a BIOS update (it was outdated)
I followed this tutorial to disable all uneeded windows 10 featyres :
I uninstalled everything that i don't use
Performed a disk clean up and cleaned up system files as well

I did Windows Defrag
Did a Cleanup image followed up with SFC /SCANNOW, and there were some corrupt files found and fixed
The Hard drive successfully passed all of the SeaTools basic tests, what would you recommend keep it plugged in or replace it?

I just learned about the Coil whine now, i don't really mind that noise, since i always wear noise canceling headset. I just wanted to make sure that the GPU is okay and not causing any problems.

I will wait and keep the computer running for a while and see if i notice any downgrade in performances or lag in games after all those fixes and get back to you with feedback.

Thank you again.

Does this desktop have 2 PS/2 ports?  If yes, get PS/2 keyboard and mouse, you might be surprised at how much faster response is.
