Remove Free WiFi Hotspot (Removal Guide)

  • March 20, 2017

Free WiFi Hotspot is a potentially unwanted program that is commonly bundled with free programs that you download from the Internet. This programs allows your computer to act as a hotspot by sharing the Internet connection of the computer.

  • Free WiFi Hotspot

As this program is commonly installed without a user's permission, does not provide any information about the developers or the program, and does not provide a way to uninstall it, I do not recommend its use. Furthermore, Free WiFi Hotspot is installed along with adware and other unwanted programs, so if Hotspot is installed on your computer, you are probably infected with other unwanted programs.

How was Free WiFi Hotspot installed on my Computer?

It is important to note that Free WiFi Hotspot is bundled with and installed by free programs that did not adequately disclose that other software would be installed along with it. Therefore, it is important that you pay close attention to license agreements and installation screens when installing anything off of the Internet. If an installation screen offers you Custom or Advanced installation options, it is a good idea to select these as they will typically disclose what other 3rd party software will also be installed. Furthermore, If the license agreement or installation screens state that they are going to install a toolbar or other unwanted adware, it is advised that you immediately cancel the install and not use the free software.

While Free WiFi Hotspot may actually enable your computer to act like a WiFi hotspot, there are too many things that I am concerned about regarding this program and how it gets installed on a computer. To remove the Free WiFi Hotspot for free, you can use the removal guide below.
