    Added by the W32/Spybot-MQ worm and IRC backdoor.

    W32/Spybot-MQ spreads through network shares and MSSQL servers protected by weak passwords and instant messenger programs such as Yahoo Messenger and MSN.

    W32/Spybot-MQ includes functionality to:

    - set up a proxy server
    - spread via AOL Instant Messager by sending messages automatically
    - log keypresses
    - format all drives
    - packet sniffing
    - bypass VNC authentication
    - access the internet and communicate with a remote server via HTTP
    - download and execute arbitrary files
    - steal information from Protected Storage
    - take part in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
    - terminate certain anti-virus and security software

Therefore, before ending a task/process via CTRL+ALT+DEL just because it has an "X" recommendation, please check whether it's in MSCONFIG or the registry first. An example would be "svchost.exe" - which doesn't appear in either under normal conditions but does via CTRL+ALT+DEL. If in doubt, don't do anything.
