If you’re a power user of the Microsoft Photos app on Windows 10, you’re in for a treat. Today, Microsoft is rolling out a new version of Photos app for Insiders that comes with a slightly improved image editing panel.

The new image editing interface features three different editing screens - crop & rotate, filters and adjustments. The series of advanced editing controls would appear on the upper-right portion of the interface.

Microsoft has also added a new drop-down menu for adding Animated text, but it shows up on Skip Ahead ring devices only.

Earlier this month, the software maker updated the app with a new feature that lets you mark the photos as favorite and these favorite photos come under the Favorites section that you can access from the Album tab.

Microsoft Photos app is evolving at a fast pace in Windows 10, and the new image editing UI changes really come in handy for basic tasks. The new image editing interface is going to be rolling out slowly this week so there’s a chance you could see it pop up any day now.
