Microsoft today unveiled the Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2 and Surface Studio. The new Surface devices come with rather subtle changes in terms of looks and features.

Surface Pro 6

Surface Pro isn’t much refreshed as compared to its predecessor. Microsoft says that the Surface Pro 6 is powered by Intel's latest 8th generation processor and it comes with up to 8GB of RAM. As expected, there is no USB-C port on this model, which is surprising, to say the least given that Microsoft recently unveiled the Surface Go affordable tablet with a USB-C port.

Surface Laptop 2

Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop 2 and it also comes in the black color variant. Under the hood, Microsoft has opted for an 8th generation Intel Core processor with up to 8GB RAM.

Surface Studio 2

Microsoft's Surface Studio 2 comes with upgraded Intel processor, up to 32GB of RAM and upgraded graphics. The Surface Studio 2 also features Nvidia Pascal graphics, improved display and it's the fastest Surface device.

As expected, the October 2 event is all about the product refreshes rather than entirely new and innovative devices. Microsoft is expected to unveil the next-generation Surface devices with design changes and improved hardware in 2019.
