Steams annual Halloween Sale has just started and is dishing up some nice discounts on spooky, demonic, and alien games, VR titles, and movies. When browsing the sale, be sure to use the All Specials page in order to see all the titles for sale. Using this page I spotted programs that you would have thought would be highlighted and still had some nice 50% off discounts.

The best part of these Steam sales is they usually contain popular titles that have been lurking at their release price for way too long. This includes titles like XCOM 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5, which are both fairly old but have been selling at a premium. The Halloween Sale makes these older games much more affordable and accessible to larger audience who do not want to spend $59 for a game thats been out for almost 2 years.

Some highlighted games include XCOM 2 for $23.99,  Alien Isolation for $11.99, Dead by Daylight for for $9.99, Grand Theft Auto V for $29.99, Limbo for $1.99, and both seasons of Telltale's The Walking Dead on sale for $7.49 each.

Also on sale are various VR titles for those who are looking to immerse themselves in blood, guts, and gore. We have Arizona Sunshine for $29.99, A Chair in a Room : Greenwater for $12.49, and the The Brookhaven Experiment for $9.99. All of these titles are usable on the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift.

Finally, like last year's Halloween Sale, Steam is offering up a selection of discounted horror movies. While most of them are your typical late night offerings, there are a few quality titles like Cabin in the Woods for $5.59, American Werewolf in London for $4.94, and the cult classic Evil Dead for $3.99.

For those looking to take advantage of the sales, you only have until November 1st when the sale will end at 10am PST.
