Definition

A necessary device inside your computer that allow you to see the output of your computer. The video card can be either installed directly on the mother board or be a add-on card that gets installed into a slot on your motherboard.

The video card has a port on the back of it that is external to the computer case that you plug the cable from your monitor into.
