I had an update icon in the task bar....I updated and clicked "shut down to update pc"

I attempted to turn on PC and nothing. F10 gives me options to go to Safe Mode, last good configuration....etc...

Still the PC will not load.

HELP!!! greatly appreciated.

Hi, try booting of of your windows CD and then pressing "R" to start the recovery console and then typing in "chkdsk /p". This should repair any corrupt or missing windows files.

Hope this helps!
