Well just when everything is going fine something stops working.
I have a Lightscribe DVD burner that has just stopped working.
When I go into the hardware components in Control Panel it says the drive is working.(ready)
I'm wondering if this would have something to do with some viruses I have just removed recently.
I have tried rolling over the driver but that didn't work, so I'm a bit lost need help....

uninstall the driver then reboot and see if it works...

also if you can, provide more info

is it a combo burner?

Is it a pata or sata device?

how old is it?

Does it appear in "my computer"

Can you access it in "my computer"

so on and so forth....
