just wondering if anybody around here has some
experience in purchasing bulk case fans/power supply
fans.

i am needing 80x80x25 non-variable speed
with either just the positive and ground just
bare wires or to a 4 pin molex (which will get cut off)

i am having to replace the fans on about 25 machines
where the power supply fans have siezed up
(and the machines are out of warranty)

so far i have had good success with just scavenging
fans from other machines to get the few that were
showing symptoms back up and running so far...

any help would be appreciated!!

now i'm not saying that all sellers on the internet
are bad but i searched thru pricewatch and found
a good deal on some hardware and my boss
purchased them (3 pieces) and they never shipped
the parts... we were needing the parts to fix a client's
computer and that client had to wait longer as
we scrambled around trying to find another seller.

i was just hoping to avoid a repeat of that fiasco.

That sounds bad im sorry. I hope you get your parts even if they are later.

I ask that you try these sites:

http://www.newegg.com and http://www.tigerdirect.com

They are both well known and trusted pc part sites.

Hope this will help you out some. If not why not go to ebay.com?

In the worst case I have a local shop that sells Manhathen brand fans for $4.99 each. Give'm a call 225-274-1400. It's Computer Exchange in Baton Rouge,La. Ask to speak with Lisa Black (the Owner).
