About a week ago I had a problem with rouge pop-ups. I ultimately fixed the issue using some instructions I found here.
Now reflecting on the issue I was wondering how do deleted files get replaces about 5 minutes after it is deleted without even rebooting?

Were you told what infection you had?

Depending on what you had, would explain how the files were being reproduced.

It was a file called mgrs.exe. I did the recovery myself just by reading the diffrent post to eradicate the beast. But it left me confused as to how it was possible to reproduce itself.

Thanks much

Virus writers are sneaky little buggers - they hid stuff so that you won't see it. Then, when you attempt to remove the file, another program will reproduce it. This is not a simple problem with the mgrs.exe file, but rather a system infection that you'll need to have treated by using both of these links:

Please read both forums carefully, particularly the pinned topics at the top.

Thanks for the response, but I had already found some really great material on the topic. Very interesting stuff. As I said I had already eradicate the problem so no need to visit your links.
