Hi this is my first post and I would lke to know if the nwiz.exe necessary to have it start up when Windows opens. What is it's function anyway?

It is part of the NVidia driver system. It is definitely not needed during startup.

If you are worried about the file however, you may want to make sure its located in the correct place on your computer.

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card? If you do then it's not needed. It deals with arranging your desktop and some other stuff (click HERE to read more about it).

If you don't have Nvidia graphics, then it's a virus! :flowers: Chances are it's the drivers for the graphics card...no worries! You can check HERE to see a comprehensive list of startup programs (search for them), then click on links to learn more about them!

I do not have a NVidia graphics card and I was suspecting that it was some kind of virus, worm etc etc.
