I recently upgraded a Fujitsu C-2330 Laptop from XP to vista business using the Clean install option. Prior to doing so, I upgraded the ram to 1.256 gb of ram. THe touch pad works fine and worked fine. now I am having issues with the mouse being real jumpy and sometimes not even working. I have tried the Dell Brand of Logitech cordless mouse. and I swaped over to a microsoft USB corded basic optical mouse. It is giving me the same issue. Could you please advise what can be done. I have downloaded the Microsoft Intellipoint software for the mouse, and it does not solve the issue at all. I also have a USB keyboard installed and it is not giving me any issues. Please Help

I feel dumb asking this, but is the mouse compatible with Vista?

Also, I found this article...

This is extremely strange maybe someone can provide an explanation. I had the mouse settings set to use the touchpad and the mouse simultanesously. The touchpad is clean. I have disabled the touchpad and mouse appears to work a lot better. Let me know if someone has an explanation. Disregard this I spoke 2 soon. It is still giving me issues.

The Vista compatible software for Logitech devices is called SetPoint now and it works quite well with their devices. Are you sure that you've got the correct, Vista compatible software for the drivers on the touchpad?

For the touchpad, I have not had any issues with the touchpad. I do have the alert that there are minor compatibility issues with the touchpad, but it has not been an issues since it works fine.

The logitech driver will operate the dell mouse (which appears to be manufactured by logitech)
