I have a XP laptop with Apple's Airport Express. This morning the wireless was fine. I came home and no connection. The signal strength is excellent, my laptop just will not connect to the Airport Express. I unpluged Airport and pluged the modem directly into my laptop. Network connection said that I was connected, but again no internet. A friend is spending a few days. I'm on his laptop. Obviously, he can connect using my Airport Express system.
Something is blocking my internet signal. I recently uninstalled Norton and went with the Free Zone Alarm, Free AVG anti-virus and free AVG anti-spyware. Could any of these have permanently blocked the internet?
Help. I work on my laptop and have clients waiting.
