I obviously am hving some virus issues with my computer, and am looking to post an HJT log onto the site. I've following all the directions from the tutorial post (Thanks!), but I've hit a snag.

I downloaded the install file for HiJackThis, and when I go to run the installation, it stops and gives me the following message:

"This application has failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I've tried running the reinstall again, I've re-downloaded the install files and tried again - all to no avail.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You need to re install the Visual basic runtime libraries. Here is where you get VB 6.0 runtime.

Yuppers. I'm hoping that it's pretty clear where the problems are. *crosses fingers* This virus has been particularly tough, and it couldn't have come at a more inopportune moment....so my sanity is in this Forums' hands!
