Removing Adware

I use McAfee products and have scanned my computer twice in 24 hours and the red screen returns each time. It says: Your Privacy is in Danger! Download Privacy protection software now! I also receive messages from system that tell me: System has detected virus. Use recommended antispyware to remove etc. There are several variations to this message. These messages keep appearing every couple of minutes. I also get a malware popup and Windows explorer will not open on this computer now so I am using Firefox to connect.

What kind of problem do I have and can you help me repair it? This has never happened before.

Check your Add/Remove program and remove the program if it is there.

Use the Smitfraudfix program in the link below.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Post a Hijack This log in the Hijack This Forum by following the directions in the link below. DO NOT post the log in this forum.
