Adding A Dvd Burner

I have a Dell Dimension several years old. My CD burner - A NEC NR-7800A - has died. Will a
LG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Black E-IDE/ATAPI Model GSA-H54NK - OEM work in my computer. If so, what do I do to install it. I have only opened the back of a computer once so I'm a real novice. Thanks

How-to with pics.
Be sure to pay attention to the jumper position on the old one and keep it the same on the new one

Hi asloan98 i have the Dell 8300 i think they are much the same when it comes to an upgrade, this might be of use.
