Since discovering this forum a few months ago, I've been impressed with the dedicated work of the moderators and others in the public service and education to the user community. In particular the work in the security section on removing browser hijackers and processing logs can be tedious and I admire that effort.

I've pointed folks to this forum myself as a good source for answers to their questions and for the continuing education we all need in the IT profession. As Mr. Spock says "Live long and prosper" as hopefully even more milestones are ahead for this great forum.

Thanks Harry ! Do not forget your efforts here though. Without you alerting us about the new malware coming out, we would be wading through even more unknown waters.

Thanks again for everyone who helps here and the users who support us!

Yes look how far this site has gone!
Take a look at when this post was made by the way.

"Jul 2 2004"

I got here a little later on that month! This site since I arrived has grown very fast!

Way to go Grinler for such a nice site!

Harry's post certainly does bring back memories. That BC has come so far is a tribute to Grinler and the many many people who contribute each day towards helping others in so friendly and in so understanding ways.
Cheers,
John

I have to agree with you jgweed. Thanks to Grinler for creating this great site and all who have committed their time to help others vs malware. My first visit back then was to have search bar removed from my PC.. I submitted my HiJack log and Grinler fixed it. I read everything and kept learning. Found my self coming back often to the great people and help. Also I'd want to give a nod to the sister site Calendar of Updates . CoU with it's extensive list and all the other excellent information is another great security commodity.
 I haven't left yet and don't see I will.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook

I agree, a big thanks goes to Grinler  for a great site, for all of the Admins, Moderators, and HJT Team Members. I want to also thank all of the HJT Team Coaches who helped me get through my HJT Trainee days. Thanks to all the great members, and everyone who continues to support us. Hope this site continues to grow. I know I will be around here for a long time. :flowers:
