Hello everyone,

Help! I need help! I was once installed a program "Quicken 2007" on Vista Business and it worked fine in the first place. However, the program asked me to search any updates for this program; and found a update from its ftp server. The updates took place for a while which the updating window showed no response. I was tried my best to resolve it, but nothing I could get. At last, I tried to unistall this "Quicken" from my Vista by using its own installation program "Change, remove and repair". Nothing happened at last. I was using the Add/remove program in control panel and highlight the the program, but the action bar shows nothing "no uninstall". I tried to get rid of this proigram by deleting all the files. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the others cos' I run the setup that it shows some trace of programs left on my Vista?

Please help me!

Try reinstalling the original version that you installed - and run it in XP SP2 compatibility mode and Run as Adminsitrator. Then run the Programs applet as an Administrator to attempt to remove it.

If this doesn't work, then you'll have to resort to diving throughout the file system and the registry to remove it manually (don't forget to backup!) in order to let other versions install.
