Dear Friends,

I came across this community when I was searching for a solution to my problem using google search engine. Basically, I have a Sony VAIO (VGN-FJ68GP/W) and I noticed lately that my computer is running very slow. I checked the CPU Utilization and it's always 100%, though the memory usage stays at about 500MB.
Moreover, my Windows Explorer is often times 'Not responding'.

Can anyone please help me with my problem. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi tg1911,

To answer your questions,

My RAM is 1GB
The latest software I installed is the Adobe Reader 8
Yes, I have updated and ran my antivirus and found no virus. However, I always see a status in my AVG antivirus that kernel32.dll, user32.dll and ntoskrnl.exe has 'Changed'

Yes, I did on online scan using Trend Micro's House Call and found no virus
I also run my AVG Antispyware and found one medium threat cookie tracker and deleted it from the system. Still, at some point, my CPU utilization reaches 100%.

Kindly let me know if you have any ideas how to fix it.

Thanks,
Mark
