OK here goes my first post...
I have an HP a1473w with dual core Pent 4 and internal HDD with winxp media edition.
Also have Ubuntu 7.04 installed on external usb HDD . Bootloader is Grub installed in MBR of Internal drive.
This works great. grub loads and shows both OSes and no prob starting either.
I have another usb external drive and want to install PCLOS on it, from live CD, Will the install mess up the already installed OSes
or will the PCLOS grub recognize the ubuntu HDD with no problem?
I like Ubuntu and PCLOS both and want to use them both for different reasons.
Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be a problem at all. You're installing it to a third drive, so as long as you are careful about where you are installing it, it should be fine. That said, anything can happen; back up your important data, etc, etc.
