I have been infected with Trojan and SmitFraud. I NOW have Spybot S&D, AVG FREE, Ad-aware, Zonealarm, and Norton on my PC. I have managed to do many of the scans and even restored my PC back to when it ran without interruption and normally. I am no longer having sluggish results, being bombarded by WinProAntivirus and other sites..... and Zonealarm is keeping pop ups at bay. My itunes/pictures, and data remained and Windows XP, IE, and security has been updated as well as Adobe, etc. However, I noticed my AVG came back with 11 or 13 viruses that were Trojan related and the file description on the report stated these were unhealable. I have printed out the Hijack this instructions and plan to do them this weekend. I had saved one log before restoring from Ad-aware which showed the SmitFraud. After the restore, I was able to isolate these parasites and "fix" them but they do remain in my files and I desperately want to get rid of them. (I was unable to do this prior to restore. It kept saying 3 files remainded and couldn't be fixed. Now I can get Spybot, Ad-aware, and AVG fix all items. However I am still uneasy with leaving them.

My immediate question is that I have noticed that the responses between user and forum admin. take days (as in today a log is posted, tomorrow maybe there is a response, then the next day and new log, and the next day a new response, etc ) and is it safe to continue to work on my pc (no financial related items of course) while I am awaiting a response after posting a log? The reason I ask is that I have a teen at home who is NOT going to listen to me if I ask her not to be on the computer/internet and will chose to do so when I am at work. Does this mean that the computer logs I receive will be out of date if she runs the computer after I present a log (granted she doesn't install any new programs or components) to the forum?
I apologize if this has been presented before. I tried searching...but.....
