Well my problem is that a file I cannot delete because it claims that another program is using the file...

I've checked and not one program is using the file...

I also tried deleteing it though MSDos and MSDos claims that it cannot do it...

any advice or tips will help...

Hi Jovro and welcome to BC!

There are two ways you can try to do it.

1) Boot into Safe Mode by continuously tapping the F8 key as soon as the computer begins to boot. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode. Then try to delete the file and see if it's possible.

If method 1 doesn't work, then try method 2.

2) You can get either Delete Doctor 2.1 or Unlocker to help you to delete the file.
