Cant Expand My Autoruns File

Virused up to the eyeballs. Am not a majorly competent computer user but am learning fast.

Have downloaded Autoruns which arrived in a compressed package which it recommended i open.
My computer wont let me do this says my drives etc dont exist. It says i dont have temporary internet downloads so i tried to put it into my documents and it again said drive does not exist.

Ive got windows XP, thats as technical as i know. Sorry.

Ive had trouble downloading for some time.

See if you can download and install Hijack This from the link below. If you can, run a scan and post the scan in the Hijack This Forum.

I just read first section. Are you sure i am up to this? I am not that good on computer tho i can follow step by step instructions.

Based on your initial post, I was thinking that due to the condition of your computer you may not be able to download the Hijack This program much less any other programs needed to fix your computer.
