Your Hard Drive is getting full. I'd Defragment the hard drive first and then if that doesnt help either buy a bigger Hard Drive or start triaging files I didnt need anymore

Basically, the Page File (Virtual Memory) is what your operating system uses when it runs low on RAM resources.
virtual memory
paging

The minimum, should be 1.5 times the amount of RAM you have.
The maximum, should be at least, three times your memory.

If you want to adjust it:
Click Start / Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / System / Advanced tab
Under Performance click the Settings button.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Virtual Memory, click the Change button.
Under Paging file size for selected drive, put a tick next to Custom size:.
Make your changes.
Then click the Set button.
Click OK.
Click Apply.
Click OK.

The best solution, would be to increase the amount of RAM your system has, by buying more, since reading the hard drive is much slower than RAM.

This can also be caused by a program malfunctioning and refusing to release the memory that it's using. Check in Task Manager...Processes tab to see if anything is hogging the memory.

Press the Windows key and the Pause/Break key at the same time to open the system properties. It'll list the amount of RAM there.
