I did the wrong thing and clicked on an email attachment with .pdf extension. I have scanned with Panda and online with trend micro, mcAfee and F-secure and nothing found. Some applications have tried to reinstall including word, outlook and word perfect. I have XP.

Is there anything else I can do? I'm not sure I'm infected, but I am concerned with the applications that reinstalled. I have googled the .pdf and virus and mcAfee was the only antivirus that showedup.

Thanks

I'm not sure if I have a virus. I thought that I may have been infected when I openend the .pdf file in my email. Also, there were many emails containg .pdf files in the last month, so I thought there might have been something in there because of my computer wanting to reinstall some applications. I just recently reinstalled everything.

After I had opened the file, I downloaded another of the email .pdf attachments and used http://virusscan.jotti.org/ to check it to try to identify a virus and it did not find anything.

Thanks
