I need technical help from the Bleepers!! I installed Vista over XP (still get Blue Screen after Deep Sleep - ???). I downloaded drivers for my Lexmark X6150 printer & it worked. When I turned my PC on later - Blue Screen with code: 0x0000009c (0x00000004, 0x8618E598, oxB2000000, 0x00070F0F). I managed to uninstall the drivers & can now use the OS but no printers. Does anyone have a solution or have any idea? Lexmark folks were nice but said their drivers were "ok".

Thanks in advance,

This is generally a hardware issue with the PC that the CPU has reported to Windows - I'd suggest checking out the things mentioned here: http://aumha.org/a/stop.php#0x9c

Most commonly it results from overheating, from failed hardware (RAM, CPU, hardware bus, power supply, etc.), or from pushing hardware beyond its capabilities (e.g., overclocking a CPU).

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. USAMSA
Thanks but I have no idea what all the codes mean or more importantly, how to go about fixing it. I talked with Gateway (nice & knowledgable guy for once) who said it was the "VIStA on top of XP" problem. I mentioned the many problems with "Deep Sleep" (blue screen, won't wake up, etc, slow PC, etc) & he showed me how to turn off that "feature" (lol). Since then, not a single problem - getting ready to add the printer & see if it works.
