I decided to completely clear out my desktop (besides the recycle bin) to improve the computer's boot speed, but there is one small problem. I can't get rid of the Canon My MultiPASS desktop icon. When i try to drag it to the recycle bin it just gives me the ol' black circle with a line thru it and when you right-click the icon there is no option to delete it. If anyone knows a way to hide, or better yet get rid of this icon, the help would be much appreciated.

Try to remove it from your desktop folder:

My Computer / C: / Documents and Settings / Use Folder / Desktop

Delete it from there.
If that doesn't work, try to do it in Safe Mode.
