Help !noob/ System Restore

windows XP, just wanna know why after i created a system restore.. after 1 or 2 days my created system restore i created was gone.. .. can someone here would like to help me how to create system restore that will last for a long time.. tnx :>

Are new system restore points being created? It may be that you need to allocate more disk space to system restore so that when new restore points are created the old ones don't get deleted.
