Turn off system restore. This will remove all restore points since some are infected . Turn system restore back on.

Remove temporary files, logs, cookies, etc. by using Ccleaner. Do not use "Advanced Settings" or the "Issues" button. Use only the default settings. http://www.ccleaner.com/

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Post a Hijack This log in the Hijack This Forum by following the directions in the link below if the programs above have not removed ALL malware. DO NOT post the log in this forum.

How To start Windows in Safe Mode

I realize you may have a problem doing the above. If you are unable to install Super Antispyware or run the online scan,
attempt to download the Hijack This program. Before installing the Hijack This program, locate the .exe file and right click on it and select "rename". Change the name to lastchancescan. If that works, post the log in the Hijack This Forum. NOT here.

(Almost forgot to ask---has Rudolph got rid of that nasty cold?)
