 hi at the moment i am using bt broadband as my browser but as other people have said when i try to open internet options the screen just flashes! i am also unable to view it through control panel! i recently recovered from a threat of some kind where i got fake system alert messages so i thought it was neccessary to restore my computer to an earlier date which i thought was before the day that i installed a dodgy program. this worked because it stopped the fake system alert messages and also got rid of the CID popups. now i am unable to open internet explorer because of technical faults! (something to do with modules) :flowers: i tried undoing the restoration point and i was able to get internet explorer but the CID popups came back and i was still unable to view standard menus in order to go to tools>internet options! please reply if you feel you have a solution.
