Problem: Trying to open files from Q memory external hard drive onto new computer running windows XP. Using backup bat.bxt software. Unable to locate program associated with bxt extension. While searching, inadvertently clicked on outlook express migration 5.0 listing while browsing for programs. Now unable to open any of the files from the external hard drive which were all converted to OEM.
How can I reverse the OEM conversion, and how can I open files with a bxt extension?

Have you tried reverting to a restore point before your accident? That may prove to be the easiest.
