Please help...I'm a computer illiterate and I appear to have a virus. I am getting repeated popups from starsdoor.com. I run AdAware and Norton, but they aren't able to fix it. Actually, Norton identifies that I have a virus (see below) but it doesn't seem to be able to do anything about it. Norton keeps popping up with repeated notifications about the virus. Right now, I have over 700 virus notifications and have only been logged on for about 10 minutes.

Scan type: Realtime Protection Scan
Event: Virus Found!
Virus name: Trojan Horse
File: C:\WINDOWS\system32\vtustss.dll
Location: C:\WINDOWS\system32
Computer: D7TJTX81
Action taken: Clean failed : Quarantine failed : Access denied
Date found: Sat Jun 30 20:36:25 2007

I've done a google search in an attempt to fix this problem (it's worked the couple other times I've had a virus) and most of them mention using hijackthis. That's a little out of my league, I tried it, but the directions given didn't match the options I had.

Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated.

Sorry...not trying to bump this up, but for what's it worth, I'm no longer getting popups from starsdoor, but I still can't get rid of the Trojan Horse located at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\vtustss.dll
