I found this site by searching for help removing a nasty spylocked / spywarelocked infection.
Unlike the instructions from Norton (which I keep current daily and was up and running when I got the trojan BTW) which did not work, the automatic removal tools and directions from bleepingcomputer worked seamlessly. Thanks. I am greatful.

Why didn't Norton detect the problem? Why didn't their removal instructions work?
What is the meanning of Life? (the answers of course is 42).

Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for your kind reply. I will bookmark the site for future prblems and insights.

If you haven't read Douglas Adams "The Hitch Hikker's Guide to the Galaxy" you're in for a real treat. After several millenia pass the ultimate computer gives the answer 42 to the question "What is the meaning of Life, the universe and everything?" When the recipients of this cryptic answer protest that it's of no value to them the ulitimate computer pints out thjat they have asked the wrong question.

Regards,

Jerry Mackel
