Reinstalling Xp And Not Being Able To Windows Update

I had a crash on my system the other day when i was downloading "windosw steady state" and i had to reinstall my xp. after that i've been having several problems: my defrag doesn't work anymore and i can't install 72 necessary updates...

Hi wal and Welcome to BC!

I need some more description of your problem from you before I can actually provide you some answer.

Please go to Start > Run > type "eventvwr.exe" without the 2 quote and click OK.

Event Viewer should pop out and post the last four message from Application and System.
