Hello Everybody,
I recently reinstalled WinXP over my old copy, just to reinstall basic drivers.
All of my files and programs are no longer accessable, but can be seen if I explore
"My Computer."

Is there any way to get these back as nothing was formatted or theoretically erased?

My second question would be, after this reinstall, when I logon after rebooting I get a series of
5 windows open. Each with there own header title,

1)DrvmCDB
2)Dispatch \Tfsnifs
3)DrvmCDB pending IO
4)UDF Formatter
5)Dispatch \??\TFSWIFS
listed in no particular order.

#2 and 3 are blank.
Its interesting stuff, it looks like some sort of code or drivers however, beyond my scope of intelligence.
If I X out of it that's the end of it untill next logon.
So the question at hand is can I turn this off somehow or... what can I do about it?

I would really appreciate some help here.

Thanks,
OAG

Could you further explain more on this part? I don't really get what you meant.

For your second question, take a look at this two site.

I fell like such an idiot, I'm sorry I've wasted your time.
What I did was simply booted from my Windows XP cd and did a repair install. All of "My documents" and all of my program files are visible when I
right click on "My Computer and explore either Hard drive...as I'm writing this I am looking it over again and finding everything I thought I lost.
It's as if Windows rewrote a layer on top of the original, and left all of the previous files intact but out of reach.
Where I found these were
Right click MY Computer-->expanded Local Disk C-->All Users-->the folder with My name on it(we can call it Jeremy for short)
Here is where I found
Now, so I don't confuse you or myself, can I import my Favorites by copying them somewhere? As well as email items, ie: address' and saved files.

After this I don't know how to explain it any further, although if upon further need you can tell me what you understand and I will try to fill in the blanks.

Thanks for your time, OAG

I have yet to look at the links you left but will let you know.
