A couple of days ago I discovered au_.exe on my computer and after googling I found out that it relates to SpyFalcon and found a good removal tutorial on here. I followed it step by step and think I removed SpyFalcon successfully.

For few days everything was fine. But as of yesterday all of my .avi files don't function anymore and want to connect to a codec server. I also seem to have five instances of svchost.exe running in the processes. What are the next steps I should take?

I have av antivirus installed and the Sygate firewall on Windows XP.

edit: I installed the ffdshow codec library yesterday. Maybe that had an effect. But since then I uninstalled it.
