Every time there is a new up grade to windows vista the second monitor functions changes. A few up grades ago would have the main monitor and the slave monitor flipping over every time I came back to the PC and stopped the screen saver. This seamed to get fix with another up grades a few weeks later but now its back again with the latest rounds of up grades. Is there any way to lock or save the setting so that when a external monitor is plugged in this is always the master monitor? Its driving me nuts changing it back again and the orientation of the monitors every time the screen saver come on. This also happens if I lock the computer.

A lot of this depends on the capabilities of your laptop and monitor (although I think that you can specify it in Windows - just can't recall where it is).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
