I ran a check last night and discovered that I have 114 external drivers!
Is there something I can do to ensure that this is acceptable and that they are all legitimate?

Could you describe what the drivers are? Do you have any conflicts?

It appears to me that all of those files are required or are not harmful. I would not modify them.
Where did you find this list?

Thanks once more for taking a look. I got the list from a program called sysprotect- I downloaded it from majorgeeks.com

I am still concerned re: my computer though because my task manager shows that webroot spysweeper is constantly running the exe. the updater and the UI.exe. I cannot close the uninstaller which seems more than odd. I've run checks through house call but have not found anything. Also suspicious is that even adaware 2007 can find nothing after a full scan. Although at first this should seem great - I realize that it only fins 1 mru item- no tracking cookies ever. Even after I use a google search which has produced tracking cookies extrordinaire at work (for same site).

Am I being crazy?
Any suggestions?

Thanks
