hi all! so happy my brother showed me this site; it is awesome. thanks so much to the admin. i have never seen a site as easy to use and understand for non-techies. i am anxious to get started, and get my system clean and lean.

As you get time, take a look at the tutorials, the self-help section, and the general forums, as well as the many security and computer related news items posted. Never hesitate to post any questions you might have, or any pesky problem you might have; the folks here are always ready to help.

The HijackThis will go a long way to cleaning your computer. Just don't fix anything without help or posting a log first.
There is so much interesting reading here. It's all explained in a way that is easy to understand for a novice computer user. Like I am. :thumbsup:
