Hey forumites, Im new here, great site.

I am hoping someone might be able to help me out with the vundo trojan. I have been fighting with it for a while now. I downloaded vundofix.exe, and ran that, and it got rid of vundo, but only until I started up my computer the next time. That is to say, that it kept coming back upon restart, say a few hours after the restart vundo would resurface and Id have to do the fix again.

I have tried downloading virtumundobegone.exe as per the tutorial page, but when I click "save to disk" nothing happens, I get the little timer thingy and then... nothin.

I also tried to dowload the adware destroyer program recommended by the site, but the same thing happens, no dice on the download.

It's not a crippling infection, but the popups interrupt games and are annoying... obviously.

any help anyone here might be able to give me will be greatly appreciated, I am not really very savvy w computers, so I could use the help of a seasoned pc vet.

thanks in advance.
