What is happiness? I happened to read Charles Schulz's book, Happiness is... a Warm Puppy and realized that I find happiness in simple things... I thought it would be nice to take time to appreciate some of the small blessings in life. I hope you share what brings you joy, too.

Happiness is....

A dry towel after swim practice in the rain.
A hug from a good friend.
A bag of frozen strawberries to eat.

(I hope this topic is alright for this forum.)

Happiness to me is playing video games. I also find happiness in reading and watching movies.
When I'm asking for help, please explain, in detail, every step. Thank you :).
I have nightmares about computer glitches and bugs.

The first example that comes to mind...

When I got home last night, I held my 2 month old son for about 2 hours, the whole time he just watched me, and he made these sweet little noises, that my wife calls "coiing"? And every time he made those noises, it made my wife giggle.

...coming home from the gym and feeling like a lion.
...falling asleep with a beautiful woman, and waking up next to her, over and over again.
...watching my puppy curl up on my clothes, because my smell makes her feel safe.
...counting down the days until I see my family again (30).

Thinking of Paris Hilton being in jail While walking out my front door.

Knowing that my remote control can silence a politician.

The knowledge that a president can only serve two terms.

Being secure in the knowledge that Dick Cheney will never be a hunter partner.

Driving away from the car wash with the knowledge that cows don't fly.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Being with my wife, even if I'm in a different room in the house it's comforting to know she's there. She's the only person I've ever known that I can stand to be around more that an hour or two. With her, all the time.

:trumpet: I have to agree with you jwinathome, you have to key to one of the greatest forms of happiness in this otherwise complicated world.!!! Enjoy it while you can, they grow up entirely too quickly.

Happiness is also being with my husband (unless he's on a grumpy day) actually I couldn't do without him.
Happines is good friends that accept you as you are, flaws and all. :flowers:
